On Wednesday 2nd July, Malta’s top band Winter Moods will be performing live at The Alley in Paceville. This will be the first Winter Moods concert since the launch of their top-selling CD album, ‘Butterfly House’.
After a long absence from the local music scene, Winter Moods are now embarking on a series of live performances both locally and abroad. Shortly after their performance at The Alley, Winter Moods will be supporting Elton John at The Granaries, Floriana and soon afterwards will depart for Rome where they will hold a number of live concerts.
“We’re looking forward to performing live at The Alley,” said Ivan. “It’s been over 18 months since we’ve performed a live concert and we’ve missed the contact with our friends and fans. We look forward to seeing them all on Wednesday.”
Winter Moods new CD album, released earlier this year, is following in the success attained by its predecessor ‘Morning Ale’. Fans and music critics have acclaimed ‘Butterfly House’ both locally and abroad and all the tracks released for radio have reached the top of local music charts. The latest song ‘Eyes Open Wide’ released earlier this month is already a favourite with followers of the band.
“We’re very pleased with the feedback we’ve had about our new music,” continued Ivan. “We’re getting a lot of encouraging support and also exciting new opportunities. We’re very enthusiastic about our trip to Rome; we have about three gigs planned in less than a week.”
In the past Winter Moods have also performed at Music Festivals in Belfort, France and in Nicosia, Cyprus.
